WATCH: Why LEGO Harry Potter’s new Hogwarts Express should be dark red

Our latest YouTube short makes a solid case for why LEGO Harry Potter 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition should really be dark red.

Like every other LEGO Hogwarts Express before it, the newest (and biggest) take on the Wizarding World train is bright red, which matches the real-life train – as seen at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour – to a tee. But what if that wasn’t the version of the locomotive the LEGO Group should be aiming to replicate? And what if a more accurate colour for the new set was actually… dark red?

These are the questions we’re asking (and answering) in our latest YouTube short, which presents a solid argument for recolouring 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition in dark red. (We’ve even gone ahead and mocked it up, so you can see what it might look like for yourself.)
