Two more LEGO Batmobiles rumoured for January 2027

The first word on LEGO DC’s January 2027 wave is here, and to the surprise of absolutely nobody it consists entirely of Batmobiles…

Rumoured to be joining the long list of Batmobiles currently on shelves are 67008 Batman Returns Batmobile vs The Duck and 67009 Arkham Knight Batmobile, coming in at $59.99 and $29.99 in the US respectively. That’s according to BrickTap, which adds that those prices are ‘up in the air’ and ‘subject to change’.

If those rumours prove true, this would be our first LEGO Batmobile based on Batman: Arkham Knight, the fourth entry in Rocksteady’s Arkham video game series. And at $29.99, it would match the price of this year’s 76331 Batman v Superman Batmobile, 76332 The Batman Batmobile and 76333 Batman & Robin Batmobile, so it’s not hard to imagine it coming in at a similar scale.

Its rumoured Batman Returns counterpart, on the other hand, is said to be twice the price. Given the set name also includes Penguin’s duck vehicle from the 1992 movie, that may account for some of the difference, so there’s still a chance the Batmobile itself could still be to scale with the rest of the recent playsets – especially as it’s a bigger car to begin with.

We’ll have to wait for official confirmation on these rumoured LEGO DC 2027 sets to find out one way or the other, so take them with a grain of salt for now. Reportedly arriving before these is 76355 Batman Returns Batmobile, which is said to be on the way later this year for $219.99.
