Rumoured LEGO DC Arkham Asylum gets new price, plus piece count and date

An updated price, first piece count and possible release date for the upcoming rumoured LEGO DC 76300 Arkham Asylum D2C have emerged.

We’re deep into rumour season for 2025 already, folks, with multiple hints of potential LEGO sets for the rest of the year arriving thick and fast. Now come additional details regarding a long-awaited LEGO DC building, with initial reports of 76300 Arkham Asylum having first appeared back in late 2024.

The usually-reliable Clay_Bricks over on Reddit has reposted information from BrickMerge, suggesting that the rumoured 18+ LEGO DC set is still very much on track for later this year, with a possible release date of September 9, which would be ahead of Batman Day 2025 on September 20.

In addition, 76300 Arkham Asylum is said to include 2,953 pieces and potentially retail for $300, nearly $100 less than the original suggested price for the Gotham City D2C model. If that does indeed prove to be the case, then the upcoming LEGO DC set would certainly represent a significant upgrade on 2017’s 70912 Arkham Asylum.

That version of Arkham Asylum was based on the building’s appearance in the LEGO Batman Movie and was priced at £139.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 for 1,628 pieces, including an impressive selection of villainous minifigures.

With more elements to play with, fans may therefore be looking at a substantially larger and much more detailed version of the iconic Batman location, improving on the previous version of the LEGO DC set in multiple ways.

However, that’s pure speculation on our part for now and the LEGO Group has yet to confirm the existence of 76300 Arkham Asylum. In the meantime, do treat all such rumours regarding the potential Batman D2C build with a pinch of salt for now, until we hear otherwise.
